Admission to the permanent exhibits includes the right to visit the temporary exhibits in the GVB Gallery at no additional cost.
Museu Casa do Pontal is located on a 12,000 m² site in Recreio dos Bandeirantes near the Barra da Tijuca, between two granite outcroppings called Pedra Branca and Prainha.

It is not necessary to schedule a visit to Museu Casa do Pontal unless special arrangements are needed, such as for school visits, tours and transportation services).
