Rosana Pereira

Rosana Pereira Silva was born on 27 May 1988 in Santo Antonio, municipality of Caraí, Minas Gerais State. Granddaughter of Ulisses Pereira Chaves, excellent sculptor deceased in 2006, Rosana learned to work with her family members since almost everyone there was a ceramist. The artisan adopts her grandfather’s theme and style, exploring in an educational way the themes created by him, such as the animals’ dance, in which zoo-anthropomorphic figures take centre stage.
